Relationships – with our customers, partners and staff, form the core of what we do at Landpower. As a family-owned business, we recognise the importance and value of long-term relationships.

Landpower

Born out of a need for fit-for purpose machinery supported by quality customer service, Landpower (then known as Farmrite) was established in 1975 by Herby Whyte. Over the years, Landpower has worked towards sourcing the best farm machinery in the world, and today, we enjoy valuable brand partnerships with premium European manufacturers including CLAAS, AMAZONE, JCB, Väderstad and Grimme. Landpower is 100% family owned, delivering integrated machinery solutions including combine, forage and potato harvesters, tractors, hay and forage equipment, spreaders, sprayers and tillage tools. By staying true to Herby’s vision and commitment to improving on-farm productivity and efficiency, Landpower has grown into a significant business spanning New Zealand and Australia primarily through it’s growing CLAAS Harvest Centre retail network.

Our focus is building a culture around our customers, supported by our values – ‘In it together, Front up and Keep growing’. Today, Landpower employs 85 staff across a range of sales, marketing, technical support, parts and administrative roles in its Christchurch and Melbourne headquarters. We continuously invest in the development of our people because we know that their exceptional performance will directly enhance the success of our business, and what we offer our customers. This, in addition to our knowledge of farming and machinery, and being passionate about the job we do, sets us apart.
